Yesterday I blamed our wonderful SID on not getting the footage of our running test. Steve promptly sent me the video. So here it is. My favorite part is Lindsay diving for the wall to make that last rep count!







Last weekend off for a while, but several players are getting up early on their day off Monday to volunteer at the Kansas City Community Kitchen. Giving back. Below is a pic from this fall when we had a lot of fun running the bocce tournament for Special Olympics. Here is Kaily, Kyla, Kim and Callie with their new friend Colton. Say that three times fast. First Day Back!!!

I'm so excited for this season for a variety of reasons. This team has something special and they showed it yesterday in our first day back. We tested so see if they came back in as good a shape as they left. I knew quite a few were working over the break but I was very happy with the results. The effort put out and the commitment they're showing is inspiring me! Here is some video of the testing:















They also did a running test that was not easy but we don't have any clips to share. I'm blaming our videographer Steve Wilson (you can contact him at swilson@park.edu to complain). Just kidding Steve, thanks for being there. Can't wait for you to join us in Arizona!
