Last weekend off for a while, but several players are getting up early on their day off Monday to volunteer at the Kansas City Community Kitchen. Giving back. First Day Back!!!

I'm so excited for this season for a variety of reasons. This team has something special and they showed it yesterday in our first day back. We tested so see if they came back in as good a shape as they left. I knew quite a few were working over the break but I was very happy with the results. The effort put out and the commitment they're showing is inspiring me! Here is some video of the testing:















They also did a running test that was not easy but we don't have any clips to share. I'm blaming our videographer Steve Wilson (you can contact him at swilson@park.edu to complain). Just kidding Steve, thanks for being there. Can't wait for you to join us in Arizona!

Christmas Party

Team came over last night for the Christmas party. Finals are in full swing so I think a break is nice sometimes. We had some cookies to decorate.

Jamie and Kyla got into the Christmas theme big time.

After dinner we did our white elephant exchange. I thought I was going to luck out and keep the Caribou Coffee gift card. No such luck. But who doesn't need nail polish???

Happy Holidays to everyone! Mine started out great last night and I'm already missing them. Next time we get together means games are just around the corner! I'd also like to give a shout out to my grandma who doesn't want to take credit but made the casserole for dinner and all the cookies to decorate. Oh, and the awesome dessert. My favorite. Fall Workouts Complete

Today we wrapped up fall conditioning. The team worked hard, early in the morning, and there has been a lot of improvement. I'm really proud of how they have come together as a team and held each other accountable. Here's a video of a workout earlier in the year.

Softball Schedule Announced
